Returns & Refunds

This policy applies to purchases from HT MECHATRONICS LLC, trading as HT Mechatronics.

Change-of-mind returns

We do not offer voluntary change-of-mind returns or exchanges beyond those required by applicable law. Please review the product description, selected option, dimensions and included components before placing your order. If you are unsure whether a product is suitable for your project, contact us before purchasing.

This policy does not limit your statutory rights concerning cancellation, faulty goods, incorrect items or products that do not match their description.

How to contact us about a return

Email contact@ht-mechatronics.com with your order number, the item concerned and details of your request. For a statutory change-of-mind cancellation, you do not need to give a reason.

We will provide instructions and the appropriate return address. Please do not send returns to our registered business address, as it cannot accept parcels. Contacting us for routing instructions does not make your statutory cancellation rights subject to our approval.

European Union right of withdrawal

If you are an EU consumer with a statutory right of withdrawal, you may cancel your online purchase without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving the goods. For a single order delivered separately, this period generally begins when you receive the last item.

Notify us of your decision through a clear statement, such as an email, before the withdrawal period expires. Return the goods within 14 days after notifying us.

You bear the direct cost of a change-of-mind return where this was disclosed before purchase and permitted by law. This does not apply to costs we must cover for faulty or incorrect goods.

You may inspect the goods as necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Where legally permitted, a refund may be reduced for diminished value caused by handling beyond that necessary inspection.

Damaged, faulty, incorrect or missing items

Please contact us if an item arrives damaged, is faulty, is incorrect or is missing from your order. Include your order number and a description of the issue. Photos of the item and packaging, where available, can help us investigate.

We will assess the issue and provide the remedy required by applicable law, which may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund. We will cover return costs where legally required.

Damage caused by misuse, incorrect wiring, unsuitable power supplies or modifications is not automatically a product defect. This does not exclude any statutory rights you may have.

Returning products

Pack returned items securely and include the components and accessories being returned. Use the original packaging where available. We recommend retaining proof of postage and using a tracked service.

Do not send products to a supplier or warehouse without confirming the correct destination with us.

Refunds

For EU statutory withdrawals, we refund payments, including the least expensive standard outbound delivery charge, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. Unless we offer collection, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or evidence of their return, whichever occurs first.

Refunds use the original payment method unless otherwise agreed, without a refund fee. Any other refunds will be handled within the timeframe required by applicable law. Your payment provider may take additional time to display the credit.

Order changes and cancellations

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee changes once order preparation or shipping has begun. This does not affect statutory cancellation rights.

Earlier purchases

Any more favourable return terms offered when you placed your order will continue to apply to that purchase. This policy does not retrospectively remove those terms.
